The signatures of Windstone Community
This is a place shaped by believers in and seekers of the Triune Christian God. Rooted in the Nicene Creed, we strive to foster Christ-like relationships with all who enter this space. It is a place of conversation, hospitality, and discovery, built on the love exemplified in Romans 12 and I Corinthians 13.
Theology
This is a place for Creation Care. With our property’s rich natural and social history, we promote ecological research, education, and exchange. Here we find and restore forgotten streams, record and protect endangered species, press apples into cider, and teach children and adults alike to name the birds, trees, and flowers of their home.
Ecology
This is a place for makers and lovers of the arts. Artists and craftspeople of all kinds come seeking inspiration, retreat, companionship, and rest. It is a place where artistic freedom, creativity, and appreciation overflow. We host poetry readings, house concerts, book clubs, art exhibitions, and gatherings that enable collaboration and exchange among makers.
Arts
This is a place where seemingly diverse loves are woven back together.
Artists paint in our woodlands, friends pray together while planting trees, academics blow the dust off their skis, and priests read poetry aloud by the fire. Each discipline enriches the other, and new ideas, sermons, friendships, artworks, recipes, and prayers emerge from their (re)integration.
